QuietKat Predator Fat Tire Electric Mountain Bike 48-Volt With Throttle, Pedal Assist, 750-Watt Motor, 9-Speed Shimano Gearing, Front Air Suspension and Hydraulic Disc Brakes
QuietKats Predator 750 has the same construction and high end components of the top of the line Apex e-bike, but is more affordable due to its 750 watt mid drive motor system. While the Predator gives up top speed performance to the Apex, its every bit as capable off road. Its 48 volt battery pushes it, while its 9-speed Shimano drive train allows you to tackle roads, hills and trails with ease. When the going gets rough or the load gets big, youll have no worries about your Predators capabilities. With its Mozo air sprung front shock and its dual hydraulic disc brakes this Predator is easy to tame.
Motor and Battery
The Predator is driven by a nearly silent 750 watt hub-drive DC motor in a fully sealed, waterproof housing. Its durable brushless design is virtually maintenance free. Powered by a 48 volt Panasonic lithium-ion battery that cranks out 11.6 amperes per hour, there are 5 levels of pedal assist available that can power the Rover on a single charge while hauling a maximum 300 pound load. The included lithium battery charger completely recharges an empty battery in 6 hours.
Running Gear
The Predators heavy duty frame is constructed of sturdy 6061 aluminum and is complimented with high quality name brand running gear just like the entire QuietKat line. Including a standard stainless steel chain, an ergonomically designed saddle for an all day comfortable ride, a long travel Mozo air spring suspension for and 4.5 inch Kenda Fat Tires for sure footed traction and low impact on trail or off. Control of a big, fast EV like the Predator 750 is enhanced with a digital display showing your speed, trip distance and charge level; a thumb throttle with a Shimano Deore 9-Speed cassette and front and rear 7 inch hydraulic disc brakes.
