Electric Bike Sizing Guide: Too short? Too tall? Which Frame size works for you.

Posted by Shoptimized Support on

Electric Bike Sizing isn't rocket science but it is important to make sure you find a frame that fits you well.   A2B Electric bikes give you the luxury to choose a frame size for maximum comfort. The bikes come in 17" and 20" sizes.

We tell customers that a 17" frame best suit people with heights ranging from 5'3-5'9" or 5'10" and 5'9" and above would be comfortable on the 20" frame.  There is quite a bit of adjustability in the seatpost height and handlebars so if you are around 5'7"-5'11" it is also a bit of personal preference.

Here is a more specific diagram that you can refer to when choosing,

Aside from your height and actually more important to consider is your is your leg extension. Your legs should be fully extended but should not hyper extend while pedaling.  You can use the diagram above to help guide your size decision.

A2B Bikes like the SpeedEntz and the Orsted are step-through frames so getting on and off the bike should be very easy no matter what height is.
